How long is each session and how long do I need to be in therapy?
Therapy is an intimate process that differs by individual. Designed to be 50mins - 60mins per session, depending on the content of the therapy, your therapist may recommend weekly session, bi-weekly session, or monthly session. Termination of therapy is voluntary, it is also a collaborative process determined by you and your provider.
Psychoanalysis? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?
There are many therapy modalities to choose from, and it depends on what your provider is an expert in. At Healthy Mind Psychological Center, we utilize psychodynamic theory and relational theory to understand a person’s past and present, and cognitive behavioral therapy modality in treatment.
What are the payment methods?
Insurance accepted are: Aetna, Blueshield, HealthNet, and Cigna. While your co-pay may be different pending on your insurance plan, you may also have a high deductible to which you need to meet. It is your responsibility to inquire insurance company on your portion of the fee, anything not payable by insurance, will be patient’s responsibility.
For those choose to utilize private payment, payment is accepted via cash/check/Zelle/Venmo. Each session fee is at $180 per 50mins-60mins session.
